1. I have had a long running relationship with Microsoft Word during my time as a student. Every essay, assignment, and Christmas list I ever made was created on Microsoft Word. I learned how to format essays and use MLA format on Word. My teachers have made study guides and any syllabus on Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word has literally been the lifeline and heart of my educational technology. I love it so much!

2. I have very little experience with copyright laws and fair use. I do worry about it at times though that I might break one of these laws by accident because I am unaware. As a teacher, I would make sure my students are informed about these terms and what they entail. I want my students to have more information than I did growing up about technology and the way it should be used properly today.  I would also make sure to cite any lesson plans I use from someone else. I want to make sure I give credit and also not break any laws.

3. In my classroom, I would make sure that everything is ADA compliant so i can accommodate all of my students equally. I want everyone to excel in my classroom. I would also explain to them their right to privacy and what information I can and cannot share with their parents (depending on their age). I want them to know what their rights are when it comes to grades and finances. I also would enforce the severity of academic dishonesty in the classroom. I need my students to understand that even though technology has made it easier for them to cheat, lie, and plagiarize, that they should not do it and that they will be punished accordingly.

  1. maybe it would be good for you to extend on how you would make your classroom ADA compliant and how would you go about applying their guidelines

  2. I really like how you were honest in saying you might potentially break the laws regarding copyright and fair use because you are unaware of the laws put into place. I feel the exact same way! It's really good that you are prepared to tell your students about these terms and hope everyone complies to these standards. I think you will be an excellent teacher and I know your students will greatly succeed in your classroom! :)
