1. Adaptive technologies are useful for people with disabilities. These technologies support them by helping them excel the way a child without a disability would. For example, there are adapted keyboards that have bigger keys that are further apart for those who are visually impaired. This adaptive technology would help these individuals excel in the classroom. I do not know anyone who has used such technologies 2. In lower SES communities these adaptive technologies may be harder to gain access to. This is because adaptive technologies are pricier and low SES communities may not be able to afford them. Also, some students may have trouble learning how to use these technologies. Teachers may not be aware of some of the technologies available. There should be a class teachers can take to learn how to better accommodate these students. 3.
