In the past, I have used technology in many of my courses in school. From kindergarten to eighth grade I had technology class. In this class we learned about PowerPoint, excel, how to type properly, and many other software programs commonly used. I have also done many projects and papers throughout my school years that have required me to use technology to do research and presentations. I use a phone and a laptop on a daily basis and technology is very helpful in my daily life.

In this class, I hope to gain a better understanding of how technology can be used to help other people. I want to be refreshed in everything that I have learned in the past. I need to relearn how to navigate excel because I have forgotten what I used to know. I want this class to give me new ways and ideas to approach technology to enhance my college experience and life itself.

Today, I learned that I am balanced in most areas of learning except for one. I am moderately more active than reflective. I am not surprised by this result as I have always been a very hands-on learner. I have always been creatively oriented as well. I am also intuitive, visual, and sequential. I love knowing what learning style I am because it really helps me excel in my classes. I know what tools and things I can do to do my best in my courses.
